Write 5 sentences on why you want to join.:
Why should you be accepted? I should be accepted because,, well i don't really think i should be accepted...i'm not very "posh".I don't have designer clothes or anything like that, im not very big on bathing suits or getting a tan. I live in the ghetto of San Pedro. I've been wearing the same pair of chucks since the summer of 9th grade. I'm just expressing an interest in one of the many scenes in California, i love California..if that helps.
Do you like Laguna Beach? Unfortunately, i don't have the privelege of cable.
Do you like the OC? Yes i do, but lately i haven't been watching it. Shame on me.
Do you live at the beach or are you a stay home kinda person? i like the beach, but mostly at night. I'm very prone to sunburns, it not pretty...and no one wants to see me in a bathing suit.
Also if you have seen the OC/Laguna Beach who is your favrite charecter and why? Hmm..i like Seth because he's like a nerdy little kid. I like how he's all in to comic books and video games and stuff. You know, that and he's incredibly cute.
Whats the most expensive piece of clothing you own? Hmm...honestly, i don't know...but im thinking it probably this dress my gramma got me for my 8th grade graduation, it was almost 100$.
Would you rather spend money on one expensive outfit or a bunch of cheaper ones? A bunch of cheaper ones, thats stupid to spend a shit load of money on one thing. I like to use my money wisely.
Are you a bargain hunter? Very much so, i got it from my mother.
who is your favorite designer? designer eh? well.... all of my favorite clothing comes from target, so that would make it Mossimo?..but thats a company, not a designer..so i don't know. I don't have on i guess.
Whats your opinion on..... (5 sentence minimum)
Matching your undergarmets? Five sentences? are you serious? alright. Matching my undergarments is probably one of the least important thing i have ever heard of. Most of my bras are black, except that i have a red one and a hot pink one. My underwear are very assorted, pink flamingos, boxers with witty sayings, stripes, Hello Kitty, polka dots, plaid. So matching them would be pretty tricky and very expensive. No one is going to see them, so i don't mind if they are mismatched. is that 5?
Knock offs? Knock off's are not really a big deal to me. Originals are often grossly overpriced. So if you can get something that is just as nice for cheaper, i don't see the problem. I mean who wants to spend 500$ on a purse when you can get one at the swap meet for 15$? In conclusion, knock off's are a wonderful invention; they allow the less endowed to be able to indulge in the finer things in life.
Britney Spears? Like every other young girl, i of course was a Britney Spears fan. That is until i attended one of her concerts on the "oops" tour. I had the worst time of my life, and after that i hated her. I don't believe she is a very admirable person, and her music is not particularly impressive. I also think she is very simple minded.
Abercomie and Fitch? Abercrombie and Fitch has some nice clothes, although they are ridiculously over priced. I myself own a pretty cool green shirt that i got from there, although i hated buying it...such a small amount of fabric for nearly 30$..i shudder at the thought. Their ad campaigns are laughable, i mean if they're advertising clothing, then why are their models naked? Another thing i don't like about them, is they don't have a single item that is black, i happen to like black very much. I don't often venture into this store.
The punk rock trend? Well, that's what it is, a trend. It was never new & original except for in the 70's with the introduction of bands like X and the Sex Pistols, the 80's punks were a trend, and today, well i don't believe any of them really are "punk". But thats the conflicting argument with this whole thing, no one has a real definition of what punk is. Punk rock is a fad that encourages rebellion and outlandish behavior, its all about making a scene & being different. If that's how a person would like to be, then what the hell, i say go for it.
