She knocked softly on the Minister's office door, glaring at the secretary who dared tell her that Madame Minister was busy.

Tracey knew the Minister was busy, but that didn't mean she wouldn't be missing her bag.

"Come," Maria's voice was sharp as she sat at her desk, color high on her cheeks in irritation.

"I'm sorry to disturb you, Madame, but I thought you might be wanting this," Tracey said as she gently placed the bag on Maria's desk.

"Oh, for Merlin's sake, thank you, Tracey," Maria said, eyes opening. She had been in such a rush to get back to the office and deal with that twat of a secretary. Idiot man.

"You're welcome. I know I would be lost with out my own, and I am nowhere near as am important figure as you are," Tracey replied, eyes following the Minister's movement as she picked her back up, checked the contents, and put it in the top drawer of her desk, using her wand to lock it.

"Good help is so hard to find these days, isn't it?"

Tracey nodded, eyes catching the missive on the Minister's desk. She read the information quickly, storing it in the back of her mind to think over at a later time. If the Mother was sending, and receiving such sensitive information in the Ministry, she was getting sloppy.

Tracey kept the frown off her face, arranging her features to exasperated sympathy.

"If there's nothing else?"

"No, Madame. Enjoy your afternoon." Tracey's heels clicked satisfactorily on the marble as she left the Minister's office.

Information found. Information to be used, somehow. A slow smile curved one side of her mouth as she made her way to the Atrium.

Things to be pondered. People with whom to converse. Plans to be made.

Summary: Tracey returns Maria's bag and finds out a bit of pertinent information.

tracey, maria
