Ugh, death
A friend of mine died last Saturday. He was driving home from his girlfriends house and a tree branch fell on his car, crushing his pelvis and trapping him in the car. He was in surgery for several hours but they couldn't save him. His funeral is on Friday. It's thrown me for a loop. I just wish everything would stop so I could sit down and cope with this monumental disaster. He was on the verge of a brilliant archaeological career.
