I really enjoyed it. I think Curse and Paladin may be my favorite books of the year :) I'm looking forward to reading the next book, although I'm a bit sad its with brand new characters.

I've heard lots of people grumble about the third one, partially because it does feature different characters, so I've taken a long break between them. Haven't read the third book yet, mind you, but when I do, it'll be a year from when I read Paladin, roughly.

I was somewhat disappointed with the third book, as well, but Curse and Paladin are both awesome.

How quickly did you read the third after you read the first two, if you don't mind me asking? :)

There were months between them. At first, I did not even know there was a sequel to "Curse of Chalion." Then months later I stumbled on "Paladin of Souls." And the yet more months later, I read "The Hallowed Hunt." I have re-read "Curse" and "Paladin" at least twice since then, but could not get into "Hunt" whenever I tried re-reading that.
