I was just thinking today how many Mike's, Adam's, Nick's, Chris's, John's, Brian's and Dan's have been in my life. Not necessarily romantically...it's just a never end stream of these names popping up in different facets. As a society, we really need to get more creative w/ our name choosing ( Read more... )

Here's a link to something I found rather interesting.

Type a name in the upper left corner to see it's popularity from the early 1900's onwards.

Jacqui (Jacqueline) was ranked 57th for girls in the 80's.
Chris (Christopher) was number 2 for boys.

(There was pretty much always at least one other 'Chris' in every class I had growing up!)
