Tonight, I am downloading music to listen to on the way home on Saturday with AnaCristina. I have been trying to find a certain song - Brother, by Pearl Jam for the past two days. This song was never recorded for an album. It was only recorded as a demo. The Lost Dogs CD that was released a year ago (had all their B-Sides) had the instrumental track that never had the vocal added. Damn Eddie! Anyway, the song is awesome, basking in true Pearl Jam glory of the early 90s. I listened to this song all the time when i was in high school and could play the solos on my guitar. The second song that I'm writing about is I Got I.D. or I Got Shit. It's great. there's no way to describe the music itself in my mind but it was released on an EP called Merkinball which was an off-shoot of the Neil Young album Mirrorball which Pearl Jam played the music for. Merkinball has I Got ID and one other song called Long Road. All three of these songs are very rare and not many fans know of these songs. (Oh, I should mention another demo - Girl... which isn't even on the Lost Dogs CD is also a great song. also like Brother was recorded during the Ten era) four songs.... I would definitely reccomend this music to anyone who likes this kind of music. it's all relatively different because they are not commercialized and don't exactly fit the "radio mold." Anyway, thanks for listening.
