Sadly, I missed the first few minutes of this week's Glee. Blame the housemates; apparently I'm the only one who knows how to wash the dishes, and I'm neurotic enough that I won't cook in a messy kitchen. And after all the work all I made for dinner was a sandwich, heh. Oh college life.
Why does Blaine always get any song by Pink? Did Darren like call dibs or something? I don't get it O.o Loved Kurt hitting the high and low notes with no problem though.
Puck absolutely killed it (even though I've never heard this song). That boy & his guitar, I swear. Ok, yeah, there's several dozen reasons that performance creeped me out, but he's still got the talent and the voice and the assets. And did it seem like Rachel figured it out, or I am reading too much into it?
Finn, bb, you're gonna make me cry with the heartfelt singing and the big eyes. Even thought Santana's been crazy rude lately, you're still trying to cheer her up and show her that you guys care. So sweet. And the other boys joining in was just perfect. [I know I always mention how far Puck has come as a character, but I just have to point out how much Finn has evolved and matured recently. Kudos.]
Shannon D: This actually did make me tear up. I've been there, not knowing how to tell a guy something and having to watch him wind up with someone else.
Finn protecting Kurt & giving him a pep talk! \o/
Country music = story of my life! So easy to relate to, even if some of my friends joke that country is all about pickups and drinkin' and hound dogs. 'Jolene' was just too perfect here. Speaking of, when is Samuel from TGP supposed to make his McKinley debut?
"You wouldn't be our choice either way." Love the girls standing up to the rugby idiot and supporting each other before breaking into song. Finn's confused face! Rory's awe! Kurt and Blaine filming via cell phone!
Finn siding with his brother and not Rachel. Yay for Finn's maturity, although he shouldn't have had to tell Rachel to fess up.
Not nice of the teacher to assume Noah is dumb and then be rude enough to call him out on it. "I got mad math skills yo!" Oh Puck. I like the fact that Shelby thought to call him about Beth, though I don't think she should have asked him to leave class. On second thought, he probably would have ditched anyway, once she told him what happened. And boy, why the hell weren't you wearing pants at Shelby's?! Not sure I wanna know. /disapproving glare
I don't see this going well *peeks between fingers* Poor Santana :( Wish I could say I didn't see that outcome from a mile away, but.
Quinn is psycho, end of story. Pretty sure not telling her would be less self-preservation and more for the greater good.
Puck back in his letterman! The irony of the Hudmels toasting, only this time it being Kurt who is standing back and joining in! Rachel not going to Sectionals, oh no! On the upside, somebody else will get the lead this time, right?
SPOILER: Looking forward to the Finn/Blaine showdown. Dun duh dunnn. Sam! I knew he was coming back, but shaking it in orange shorts and not much else? Isn't anything I could have thought of to get him back in the storyline. And Rachel bumming a dollar off Finn -- oh dear, please tell me Sam at least works at a place with a little bit of class!
