So how 'bout last night's Hawaii Five-0?! Or this weather. Seriously, it was trying to snow back home this past weekend.
Artie bossing everyone around! directing like a mofo even though he doesn't know what's going on!
Oh Blaine. Two things: how are you even that clueless, and wtf is up with the no socks all the time? I don't get the trend.
Nice little bit of humor with Puck and Finn's heart to heart. So glad Noah was all prepared to stand up for Rachel...and then of course we return to the humor. "Always thought it would be me, but I secretly hoped it would be you." Oh Noah, so sweet, in a gruff badass kinda way.
Gotta say I'm happy Kurt's fantasy involved T Lautner and not RPatts. I can see the appeal of the tall, dark & tattooed, but personally I would have picked O'Lough XD
Meet Artie Abrams, McKinley matchmaker.
Couldn't help but feel bad for Finn when Rachel sorta admitted it was only half because she loved him. Still wish she had apologized.
Miiiikkkeeee D': Just. I died a little, right there. Getting disowned for the mere fact that you're following your dreams and have ambition? Seriously Mr. Chang, I would think because you didn't get to follow your dream, you'd be even more adamant about Mike doing what he loves. More than that, he's great at it.
Way to go Shannon, make me almost start bawling like my mom during a Lifetime movie. I really like that Cooter was afraid to screw up, even if he had to have a nerdy high schooler give him a pep talk. "I don't date girls. I date women. Beautiful women like you."
I find it interesting that Kurt's the one that decided they were going to the bar. Funny how fighting for your romantic territory can lead you to step a bit out of your comfort zone. Although about the drag queens -- I don't care if it's cowtown Ohio, don't diss Reba like that, kthx. And I totally called Dave as a 'bear cub'. Glad to see he's working towards being comfortable in his own skin. I really would like to see if RM's idea of a spinoff ever comes to fruition, and to continue seeing Dave's personal growth, instead of just letting him fade out.
Of course Puck would corner Artie and freak him out before going in for the 'jk, we're trying to thank you and here's some flowers' routine. And while we're on the topic, Noah was flawless when he was leading with Santana during "America". GQMF, sexy baritone, sweet moves, etc. I was doing my best not to drool all over the remote.
Overall, I though the play was well done, since they didn't drag it out for too much of the storyline this season. I remember we only took about 2 months for everything when I was in drama my senior year, and that was from tryouts through opening night. I wasn't fond of Sebastian, but I think that was the point. On the other hand, I'm not crazy about the Kurt/Blaine setup either, but that's more because they seem so similar, personality- and interests-wise. We'll blame fandom for me imagining certain other alternatives, heh. I'm not sure how I feel about all the kids cashing in their v-cards, tbqh. What's so wrong with going through almost all of high school and then suddenly deciding you *have* to have sex just so you can be a better actress or fit in or whatever? Hell, one of the most popular jocks I went to school with decided it wasn't a big enough deal until he made it to college. But I digress. Next week's preview totally floored me. Couldn't tell you what it was about; I'm still stuck on Noah telling Shelby he loved her. Oh bb, so many ~feelings when they throw in your daughter and someone who believes in you.
ETA: I'm posting this pic in hopes that yall on my dear flist will help inspire me to finish the cowboy!porn I started after that episode. Anybody?
