Almost 2,000 new words today in Queen & Tower! Which included starting a scene where I knew [thing] had to happen, but [thing] was really just the setup of the scene; I didn’t have a clue what the scene was actually about. And then I pondered. And then I figured it out.

The scene isn’t done, but it’s close, and it makes sense, and yay.

Yes, indeed, there WAS weather on Thursday. My reading at Powell’s was well-attended anyway-though I know of at least half a dozen people who stayed home because of the weather. But it was a good crowd, and the drinks afterwards were even better.
