So here is the post with the less-good things that have happened over the last while…the biggest being the departure of my parents’ Little Dog, who headed off to the Great Hearth in the Sky, after being their faithful companion for fourteen years.

So the Real Innkeepers did indeed come home on the late ferry last night. It was great to see them, and begin catching up! We're having breakfast together tomorrow to continue infodumping at each other. Three months is a long time to be away.

Oh, and I suppose we should tell them that this inn is actually dog-friendly. ;-)

Oh yay, LiveJournal works again. I haven’t been able to log in in several days.

I left the Bay Area yesterday-markferrari drove me north, to my dad’s fabulous health club; then Mark returned south for a few important things (he’ll rejoin us tomorrow).

Here, I went for a swim (yay!), then we went home for a fabulous home-cooked meal (also yay!).
