(no subject)
My day was pretty amazing.
I actually slept last night, for starters - and I slept in till noon. Do you know how long it's been since I slept 8 hours straight, without waking up?
I found out I couldn't go bowling, which was kind of bad, but Will came and picked me up anyways. He put in the TAI... CD, loud, which was awesome, and we decided to drive to Maple, one town over, for coffee. So we get on Highway 7.
We get off when we think it might be, get a bit very lost. By the time we pull into the Tim Horton's parking lot, the TAI... CD's played twice, and we're on the second track of the Matches's CD.
Leaving the Tim Horton's a half hour later, we ask someone what town we're in, they say Woodbridge. That's two towns over. We're special. XD
So, we go back to Will's. We stick around for just about an hour, trying to figure out what the fuck we wanna do. We decide that, since we just spent an hour driving West, we're gonna drive East.
We drove to fucking Pickering. It took well over an hour to get there, like... whoa. Pickering is a rural area. We screamed along to our music, mainly Motion City Soundtrack. It was hilarious... we got lost, again, because all the streets were named, like, "Main Street" or "Second Street". And we're driving, and all of a sudden I see this strip of blue over the trees. It went:
Me: Uh... Will? Is that the Lake? [as in Lake Ontario]
Will: Oh... fuck! We're... fuck!
Me: *starts laughing*
Will: Fuck!
See, Lake Ontario, going East, not South... it's actually really far. He was saying "Fuck" 'cause he was amused, and because by the time we got home, we must've driven about 150 km over the course of the day.
It was amazing. So much fun.
We're gonna do it again soon, only going North... and then this summer we're driving to Sudbury (maybe 3 or 4+ hours away?) to go to Science North, which is like the Science Centre... it's interactive learning. And he lets mne pick what we play, so it's all cool! (And he listens to really good music, mostly the same as me, anyways.)
So, I'm gonna go chat with people. Later.
