Moments of Happiness: 3 Images from New Year's Eve Day 2009
Three pictures from the final day of 2009, for your idle (or active?) viewing pleasure.
My friend from the States, the musician, Ilana Harkavy spent a few days with Mr. Husband and me while on a European/Israeli tour. This first picture is of Ilana and me at Forest Hill Station in southeast London.
This second picture is of the ever-pleasant and stoic Husband, who was brave and gentlemanly enough to venture out of the house even though he was battling bronchitis. The sweet thing's face was so puffy from swollen glands. I'd tried to convince him to stay at home, but, being British, he decided to just 'muddle through'. He's on the mend now, thankfully.
And lastly, this picture shows our New Year's Eve lunch at PAUL; a consistently delicious french cafe. We shared two baguette sandwiches, a spinach and salmon quiche, and two large macarons: one pistachio, and one vanilla.
