It hit me today: just how many people there are in this world less fortunate than myself. Some people just don't have the freedom I enjoy to do the things I love. Not everyone can go and see The Cure on a whim, or travel across the border after sundown. I can't change these people's unfortunate circumstances, or provide them with any hope that things will be different in the future - but I can't just stand by and watch this happen: as someone particularly blessed I want to make some kind of difference.
So today, when things are bringing you down, when you feel trapped by life, like there's a river you just can't cross, like your house is a cell and you're being held without reason,
Robert Smith wants to give you a hug.
No, really, see?
So does Robert Dean Smith...
...but I don't recommend letting him...
...anyways, in closing, remember:
When you're sad, Robert Smith is sad with you.
Not Robert Dean Smith, though. He's just trying to cop a feel.
