The ticking can generally only be heard when one is alone.

Well, it is more that not very many people will come near me, and I spend much of my time in the air and without a crew or other dragons, I am naturally alone.

One on electricity would be very interesting to me. Electrical power is apparently common in the city, but I do not understand the principles behind it.
