I have no recollection of what I did yesterday, but today is Wednesday and not Tuesday, is it not?  In addition, I found this picture on my device, but I did not take it, unless I have forgotten.  Here it is:

Er...if I just press...

Can you see that?

In addition, I am seeking advice on the ticking.  I am living in a cave not ( Read more... )

I enjoy playing in Xanadu. I'd be happy to visit you there.

It would be very nice to meet you in person. It is strange to know people only by their voices and their public correspondence.

That happens far too often around here.

Not that I do not write letters sometimes, or dictate them anyway, but I am used to having La--people around.

I guess it must be hard for you to find a big enough place to stay...

It is. Of course, I am used to usually living outside, but that is out of necessity and I would prefer to live inside a building or large tent. But a cave can do nicely when cleared out properly.

I always thought dragons normally lived in caves.

Well, there are some in Africa who live in caverns in the side of a large waterfall, and many others who live in caves, but in China there are pavilions for dragons.

[Meet a girl who's not only made an Knight's oath to a dragon but happened to be one yesterday too.]

...Why would you live in a cave, for starters?

I could not find anything else that was big enough for me to live in.

It's true that the apartments aren't too large, but...

Isn't a cave too damp? You can't plug in any appliances there! And then there's what you just said: you must get lonely.

Well, it is not ideal, but I do not find that it is too bad. I am a dragon, by the way.

Plug in an appliance?

The ticking can generally only be heard when one is alone.

I had noticed that that seemed to be the case, but I was not entirely sure, since I am usually alone.

Out of choice or habit, if you don't mind me asking?

calculusdragon April 29 2010, 03:59:16 UTC
Well, it is more that not very many people will come near me, and I spend much of my time in the air and without a crew or other dragons, I am naturally alone.

A boat?

I do not understand it at all. I flew all over today looking for a ship like that, but I did not see one even though I went all the way until I hit the barrier.

It is not very fair that the barrier is invisible.

Ooh...maybe the ship disappeared! Or maybe it turned invisible or it went away or something.

If people come and go here, I suppose a ship could, as well. It looked a bit familiar, at least the design...
