Integral problems D:

May 02, 2007 19:04

this has a number-ish solution right?

w is an assload of constants i crammed into a varible, and z is what i'm integrating.

Integral of(w*z*e^(-w*z) dz from 0 -> infinity)

Now i intergrate the inside and i get

-((w*z +1)*e^(-w*z))/w to be taken from 0---> infinity.

now the problem comes with the infinty part. I get infinty over infinty ,would it be safe to assume that the e term takes over the w*z before it gets sufficienty large and make it 0? :/

it needs to be a number/some form of w. ;_;

thanks for any help.
