There are three gorgeous men practicing a hot dance routine to Nitzer Ebb's Join in the Chant! in my activity room. I think that was precisely what the activity room was built for. This does not suck.
So here is a brief update of me.
My righteously sexy husband
m7superstar turned 40 last week. As this is the first time that I have ever had a 40 year old husband I was nervous, anxious, excited, frustrated and then more excited at the thoughts of trying to celebrate honor and appropriately mark the passing of this milestone. He hadn't had a birthday party in many years. We celebrated all week long. With the help of Nobody, Audrey, Carlos, Emerald, Doryan, Kristen and countless others, a surprise party was successfully sprung upon him. There were lapdances galore, and dancing, and shower dancing, and wonderful food and beautiful cake and much relief for me when I realized that 7 was actually going to come to the party.
For the actual day of Michael's birth his mom and step dad came to town from Baltimore and we all rented a gondola on town lake and had a lovely picnic of fajitas while floating about in the sunset and watching bats dart around.
Spending time with the in-laws is quite awesome as they are warm and intelligent and delightful company. We never ran out of conversation, and I do feel that they love me.
I have had a toothache for over a week and tomorrow I finally go to the dentist to get it taken care of.
Work is steady and flowing like a massaging shower head, that is to say, not really steady, more pulsating, in spurts and spouts. I have got no complaints.
Did I mention the men taking off their clothes in the den? No. I said they were dancing. Actually, they are doing push-ups, and they have their clothes on.
