Hola, Aloha, Guten Tag, Здравствуйте, Bonjour, and hello.
Hope you all had a simply wonderful Christmas (or other celebration/religious festival, week), and that the ned of December is going well for you.
I had a great Xmas, spent lots of time with my familly, even had the joy of playing the bowling game on the Wii with them, as my uncle gave a Wii to my 85 year old Grandad, suprisingly he's pretty good at the bowling thing, once he got the hang of pressing the rite buttons - fun times.
Other than that there has been way to much food, a little alcohol (but not too much) much laughter and presents.
Glad to say, that everything I got for people seems to have been received well, no one seemed to hate anything I gave at any rate - though I am a little sad that a few of the things I've ordered/or sent for international delivery, don't seemed to have arrived in time for xmas, hopefully they will turn up soon though.
And the stuf I got was awesome - a set of really good pans -copper bottomed, stainless steel-now i can cook properly (or try anyway), and a really nice dressing gown/robe thing (black and fluffy and warm and yay - it has a hood which is awesome and makes me feel a little like a jedi) and a guide to Moscow, and a Russian language tape (to help me prepare for a trip i plan to take at the end of this 2009).
I've also gone crazy in the sales - on amazon anyway, and ordered a bunch of stuff - a load of new country music, the complete season of Buffy, Dr Horribles Sing-Along-Blog dvd, so I'm looking forward to those arriving.
I'm also hoping to start organising my next trip to the states, cause I want to see my friends in Colorado - though I am contemplating a side trip to somewhere else in the states on the way, if I can afford it, and things work out right - nothing definete yet, all just ideas and searches on Expedia....lol....but it would be awesome if I could organise something soon.
