funniest post ever.
also, went wandering around the city today and spend several hours in the book market. for you west-coasters, that's a used bookstore. notable things:
[1] a queen's engineering book from 1963, penned by no other than a dr. richardson. as in, richardson hall? it's a history of engineering at queen's, complete with grease poles and artsci formal, but no mention of ritual. i suppose that might have been started post-1963.
[2] some sort of compendium from the agnes etherington art centre (the art gallery on queen's campus). makes you wonder if queen's alumni have been hit upon hard times lately. aside from me, that is.
[3] a sigma-aldrich catalogue (2004-2005), reasonably priced at only $24.95. brilliant idea: old lab mates should bring old chemical catalogues with them next time E visits (or one of you visits, yeah right) and then i'll sell them to this place and split the profits with you. minus a small administration fee, of course.

[1] bought tickets to see joel plaskett, huzzah!
[2] made curried chicken pot pie the other night. delicious. of course it was meant to be a fast weekday casserole, but me being an overachiever decided to make the casserole into individually-portioned meat pies, with handmade crust. they were beautiful.
