My spider bite is almost completely healed up. Yay for steroid cream. Anyway, I finally felt well enough to go to the barn on Friday, where I was pleased to see that Sharif has finished shedding and is now all shiny and smooth. I didn't feel up to riding, but I gave him a good grooming and lots of treats. Many pictures were taken. Pictures which I will now post in lieu of talking about my life because I'm having a lot of trouble with rational thought and expression lately. My doctor doesn't seem to think it's anything to worry about though, and I'm wondering if maybe I ought to be insulted by that. Eh, whatever. Anyway,

I am a huge nerd, and I felt that my purse should reflect this.
So I started this post last night, but then I fell asleep before I finished it. Anyway, today I think the universe is conspiring against me because the dogs woke me up way early with their endless barking at nothing, and since then every time I've tried to go back to sleep something else happens that requires my immediate attention, like one of the dogs throwing up, or the disability people calling because the most recent form I filled out and sent them apparently never arrived (thank you, USPS) and I had to do the whole thing over the phone right then and there because my appeal is today. Did I mention that talking on the phone gives me anxiety attacks? Luckily, the lady I talked to was very kind, helpful and understanding, which made the process much easier. Still, I would like to make it known that I currently hate the universe and everything in it. Check back with me on that once I've gotten some decent sleep.
