I haven't slept in about 36 hours, even though I took an Ambien at the usual time last night. I've also spent the last few weeks getting more and more depressed. I suspect this may have something to do with my lack of sleep. At any rate, if I can't get to sleep by tomorrow morning I'm going to the doctor.

Here's some cheery stuff with which I've been trying do distract myself, with varying degrees of success.

-I'm almost finished with Diane Duane's So You Want To Be A Wizard. It is a fine example of young adult fantasy literature and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

-Pokemon Black & White is coming out on the 6th of March and I am as excited about that as I can be about anything these days. I don't care how doofy-looking it is, I'm picking Oshawott as my starter and naming it either Neville or Taffy, depending upon its gender. Haven't decided on my final team yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll contain Stoutland and Sawsbuck.

-I finally started playing Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded again, after not touching any videogames for about a month. I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would, especially since it's basically an upgraded version of a cellphone game. I'm enjoying the new plot elements its adding and am totally shipping data!Sora with data!Riku. I still do not understand why Maleficent keeps Pete around. He's really a major liability. Maybe she's being forced to do so, like it's community service or something.

-Lisa (the barn owner's daughter) told me I could use one of her western saddles on Sharif any time I liked, which means that as long as I have someone there to help me with it (since my fibro and back injury prevent me from lifting things like western saddles), I can ride western again. My feelings on the matter can be summed up thusly: :D :D :D. Don't get me wrong, I still love riding English; that's what I started out on and it's where I excel, but part of me will always be a trail-happy cowgirl.

lol depression, kingdom hearts, books, sleep is for sissies, riding, games, pokemon, sick
