Bathing a recalcitrant Pomeranian is more exercise than I'd remembered, 'cause I am sore as hell from it. At least she no longer smells like a corpse, apart from her breath.
Anyway, Dad and I went to see Megamind yesterday (I keep wanting to call it Metamind), which was pretty good. Tina Fey is always awesome, and Will Ferrel was pretty good, too. After that I went by Gamestop and traded in a few games for Dragon Age: Origins. I'm playing a female noble dwarf named Jenarie, and having a lot of fun with her. So far she's won the Proving with ease, gotten framed for murder by her asshole little brother and been recruited by the Grey Wardens for being a badass. I look forward to seeing what feats of awesome she accomplishes next.
In writing news, my story is coming along slowly but surely. My writer's block/anxiety is still giving me a lot of trouble, though. While others are aiming for 50,000 words within a month, I'll be happy if I break 10,000 by the end of the year (I'm at around 6,750 right now). Well, maybe if I keep pushing myself I'll go through another period where I can write thousands of words without blinking. They happen now and then, and never last anything like long enough. Got to take advantage of them while they're there.
