Things.
1. I'm actually recovering a lot faster than I thought I would, so yay! I'm still sore, but not nearly as bad as I was last time I had surgery. Also, I should be able to eat normal foods in time for my birthday on Sunday. :D
2. That big cat that's decided that this is its home now? Is definitely female. And pregnant. I'm taking suggestions on her name. The only two I can come up with at the moment are Ripley (from Aliens: "Get away from her you BITCH!") and Molly Weasley (aka Mollywobbles.) 'Cause they're both mama bears and I think that this kitty will be a very protective mama, in addition to the fact that she's friggin' huge.
3. Bonnie texted me today to let me know that she had to take her horses back to her dad's place for a while because she can't afford board right now. Suck. :(
4. On Monday, I traded Final Fantasy IV for Harvest Moon Sunshine Islands. This was a very good trade indeed. So far, it's just as addictive as every other Harvest Moon I've played. I generally prefer to play boy characters in this series because the marriage options for them are just so much better. I am still most displeased with the American translators for taking the lesbian option out of HM: DS Cute. Right now Jack of 30 Rock Ranch is wooing the lovely blonde Julia and working on raising enough money to build a bridge to Rice Island so he can grow some rice before winter. Then he'll get to work on raising Volcano Island so he can go mining.
5. I have got to get started on my Yuletide assignment, pain be damned. Luckily, I have a plot bunny in my head that I think my recipient will really like. At least, I hope so. *crosses fingers*
