BOOKS!
I am once again suffering from my uterus' monthly endo-induced betrayal. SUCK.
I also had a dentist's appointment yesterday for a cleaning. DOUBLE SUCK.
However, afterwards I went to Books-A-Million. YAY!
I came home with Goblin Quest, by Jim Hines, since the first book I read by him, The Stepsister Scheme, was so deliciously awesome. I'd recommend it to anyone who's a fan of comic fantasy, women kicking ass, homo-erotic subtext and strong, unbreakable bonds of love and friendship.
Next, I picked up Runaways 5, because goddamn do I love this series. I don't normally like kids all that much, but I would adopt Molly Hayes in a heartbeat, and I would buy her Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs cereal that she loves so much and I'd occasionally steal one of her super-cute hats.
Finally, I broke down and got a copy of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. Hope it's as funny as I've been told.
