First off, happy birthday, ams87! I have finished drawing your birthday present, and am now about to start coloring it in. I may even get fancy and throw in some layers and backgrounds! Holy shit! You'll have to wait until it's finished to find out what exactly I drew you, but I'll give you a hint: Jack has a special surprise for you. And a chestwig.
So I went to the barn yesterday for the first time in a week. Before we rode, Kelsea, Bonnie and I took a short field trip to look at this horse trailer for sale, which was described as a two-horse front load with living quarters. The last part turned out to be a lie. It was a rusty junkheap with a rotten floor, a moldy, damp tack-room/"living space" which I guess you could throw a mattress in if you didn't mind inhaling spores while you slept. Yeah, I'm guessing Kelsea's going to look elsewhere. Anyway, after that little adventure we went back to the barn and rode for a while. I had wicked cramps, so I didn't bother with a saddle. Just strolled around bareback in the pasture with Kelsea while Bonnie worked with RJ in the round pen. I guess Rippy got jealous of the attention the other horses were getting, because he went insane and started charging at me and Kelsea. It was scary as hell, though he never acted like he was actually going to collide with us or kick us. Sharif was a champ the whole time, though. He barely even flinched, and he could have justifiably flipped out. Made me so proud. ♥ I still wanted to murder Rippy, though. Crazy jackass. I need to start carrying a dressage whip out with me just in case he does it again. A few pops on the nose when he acts up might dissuade him a bit.
I've been playing The World Ends With You in my spare time, and I love it lots, yes. I didn't like Neku at first, but he grew on me after he had some character development. I also don't see why Sho is such a popular character. I mean, he's kind of funny and he has a cool hat, but overall I just don't find him that interesting. I like the other Reapers, though, especially that pink-haired chick and her lollipop-obsessed partner (I can never remember their names). They're such ineffectual dorks. ♥ Shiki's adorable, too. I want to steal her hat.
