In my online hunt for boots that fit properly, I came across a site which had a few styles I was interested in. In order to get a quote for the full cost of the boot (or indeed, do anything on the site), I was prompted to register. alright, fair enough, many websites require this. Which, to me, translates into: "Please purchase your boots elsewhere! We suck!"

That is EXACTLY what that translates to.

yeah I did. I ordered a pair from a US site and am having them shipped to my mom.

I can't really find my size in knee-high boots in shops. Sometimes they fit my calves, sometimes not, so I don't want to take any chances of not finding the size I need. sigh.
