[Now that Luke can stay awake for more than an hour, he'd really like to get back to the people of Auldrant as well as the friends he made here in Luceti. He still can't hear anything, but... well, maybe no one has to know that. As long as they don't try talking to him, he'll be fine.

[Luke's just staring down at the journal and waiting for responses, and he happens to glance around the room-

Luke did jump a little at the sudden appearance of Guy without warning, but he's slowly starting to get used to these things. He gives a little wave and closes the journal - he doesn't want Guy to see that Luke's trying to contact Asch unsuccessfully.]

[Guy shrugs apologetically before gesturing with his hand. They'd managed to develop a couple signals to ask common questions, which was working better than constantly writing on Luke.]

[Luke gives that wide-eyed look that states confusion without having to say a word, but then he edges out of the bed and slowly stands. He still feels weak, but at least he doesn't need to be half carried like when they were moving him to his own room.]

[Luckily Guy doesn't lead him far; just over to the window. He pulls the drapes back to show Luke the scenery.

[Now, when they were in Auldrant, Luke never really had any time to appreciate the snow. Busy saving the world and all. But now that he's in Luceti and has plenty of time to do whatever, Luke widens his eyes and leans up against the windowsill with a big smile.]

[While Luke stares out the window Guy goes rummaging in his closet for warmer clothes. It's probably not a brilliant idea to take Luke out in the cold for long, but he knows that if he doesn't get some kind of activity he'll whine and complain about being bored.

Plus it's kind of the same technique one would use on a child. Tire the little bugger out then put them down for a long nap.]

[Luke watches the snow fall for a while. When it snowed at the manor, Luke would always run out with a big smile and play around in it. It was, after all, the only change around the manor, and so he'd try to savor it while he could.

After a few minutes, Luke tears his eyes away to look for Guy.]

Hey, do you think we can-

[Aaand there's Guy gathering a coat and a scarf and all the other clothes necessary for warmth. What a mind reader.]

So I can go...? [Guy's not worried about him falling over or anything?]

[Guy balls up Luke's scarf and tosses it at his face in response. He needs to change also -since he's obviously going with him- and points to himself and the jacket he laid out for Luke before heading back down the stairs.]

Luke has a bit of a delayed reaction, but he manages to catch the scarf just before it hits his face. Oh, jeez, he's going to be a wonder if they have a snowball fight, huh?

He peeks around the scarf and gives a bit of an annoyed look, but then waves his hands to indicate that Guy should get going before he slides the jacket on and wraps the scarf around his neck. After some thought, he realizes that his ears probably need protection, too, so he rummages around the closet to try and look for some ear muffs. SUCCESS!

But when Guy comes back, he'll find Luke sitting on the floor and wrestling with the band that connects the muffs together. He could never quite figure out how those stupid things uncoil.]

[Guy comes back all bundled up too and- snerk. Wow Luke, wtg.

He heads over and just plucks the things from his hands, untwisting them easily and crouching to settle them over Luke's ears.]

[The look he gives just screams "I could've done it myself!", but then it gets ruined by his smile as he stands up and heads for the door.]

Come on, Guy!

[He practically RUNS out the door and down the hall. ffff, at this rate he'll tucker himself out as soon as he gets outside, that kid.]
