Okay, I've started saying that far too much these days. Anyway, I'm here mostly to poke my people into helping me; it's a pretty simple request. So, you know how in my last post I mentioned I'd started playing Kingdom Hearts again and was in the Cave of Wonders, right? Well, I'm still in the mother friggin' Cave of Wonders and it's driving me batty, no pun intended. I swear I've gone everywhere I can! I found the lamp room, but it won't let me go in, there's this one place down in the sewer (okay, it's more like an underground river thing, but whatever; I'm ticked at it) where there's this pillar thing and when you "Examine" it it's like, "Maybe if you hit it...?" but there's no possible way to hit it because it's in the water and you can't hit things worth beans in the water. That's why there aren't any blasted enemies down there! So I've talked to all the statues, gone through a bunch of places, the only chests I haven't opened are the ones on unreachable islands in the water (because you can't jump out of the stupid water, either, damnit) and I'm stuck and frustrated. And I really don't want to be, because when I get stuck and frustrated I tend to give up on games and I'd really like to beat an RPG one of these days. Honestly. The only video game I've beaten to this day is Harvest Moon 64. That's pathetic.
In other news, I am house-sitting for some friends from church. They have a super-nice house up in the Hollywood Hills (um, in Woodinville, not California) and a really sweet goldie named Amber and a cat. Who's just a cat, I mean really. She's kinda loud and likes pets. I give her pets when I feel like it. So I'm here all week, and shall leave rather financially fortified. Yay!
I have reached comic number 751 in
Questionable Content. It is fabulous.
Aha, knew I'd forgotten something. I've been watching Hikaru no Go on YouTube while I'm here. I like the manga better (the art in the anime just isn't very good. And the angst, I mean, ugh! I mean, it's bad in the manga, but it's disgusting in the anime! I never want to hear thirteen-year-old sobs like that again!), but it's refreshing my memory of it pretty well. Except I thought Waya was the shogi guy.... Eh, oh well. Hopefully later I can go through all my Shounen Jump and figure out where I left off. I only stopped reading because stupid Wells lost one or two of my magazines, losers. Bleh.
