Whee!
Guess what I did today, guess what I did today? I shaved my legs! For the first time in like a month! Well, first, I melted a candle and mixed it with honey and tried to wax them (because I'm poor) but that didn't work so now I have a candle with honey at the bottom (it's kinda cool, but it'll go all sizzly and black by the time it gets down there) and I shaved my legs! It took like an hour! But now I have smooth, happy legs!
Wanna know why, wanna know why?! Of course you do; there was a point to telling you about my abysmally hairy legs and the lengths to which I went to remove the hair from them, after all. But I have to go into the whole story, first.
I went to a party on Saturday night up in B'ham (shout out to S.W. @ teh Wells) and got a little boozed up, y'know (I pawned the clear Russian drink off Keith after much puppy eyes and poking) and we played WarioWare for ever and it was awesome but this is not why I shaved my legs. The reason for the leg-shaving came later, upon chilling in John Thomas's room on his matress wishing I'd brought Richard Parker with me so I could snuggle him and fall asleep.
"Richard Parker? As in Life of Pi?"
"...I love you."
Yes. I am smitten. He is pretty, and sweet, and smart, and he writes, and he's John Thomas's friend and he's my age or older and John Thomas said later that we would be really good for each other and then because he was still kinda drunk he told me how he was kinda introverted &c. and I totally fell in love with him. So I've got a serious crush. No, I'm not going to tell you his name, but it matters not because none of you know him, anyway. All you need to know is I went through the room and put away the few remaining Keith mementos and I feel so incredibly happy right now it's impossible to express it. I need to go up to B'ham again ver' ver' soon so I can see him again. I must also remind John Thomas that he said he'd hook us up, because I fear he may have forgotten upon waking in the morning. Must exchange numbers.
And to make it all better, I my PS2 came today. I played Kingdom Hearts into Agrabah and am currently in the Cave of Wonders. I'm so happy I could kiss it. *huggles PS2* The greatest thing is, it's so small I could cuddle it. It's adorable! Like a little baby PS2! Kyle took the big daddy PS2, and now I have the baby and you know how much I love babies. *snuggles*
Okies, so that's my mood. Every time I think about what month it is, or get V' Day flower spam in my inbox, or walk into a grocery store I am filled with joy and happy bubbles and flowers inside as opposed to evil, envious bitterness. Even if nothing becomes of this, I will always be grateful to him for moving me on. It's about bloody time, Caitlin. Jeeze.
One last note, I've been occupying myself by reading through the archives of Questionable Content. I am on number 300 of 816. I'll keep you posted on my progress. It's worth it; it's funny as hell, and it's fun watching his art change and improve as it goes along.
