Extra Special Pup time
I don't know if Salome Sensei will read this today, but I HAD to write.
I had the most surreal moment at work today and I immediately thought about you. An older father (as far as our patients go) with more salt than pepper hair, in his late 40's, came in today with his 5 year old son for the son's "well child" visit. It seems that Dad has given his son the nickname "Pup." Pup needed to update his immunizations and was NOT happy. Dad looked at him, in all seriousness, and said, "Now, if you're a good pup, then you and Papa will go and have some extra special Papa and Pup time, ok?"
I almost lost it. All I could think about for a minute was either Inupapa and little Sess, or Sess and little Kin. I completely cracked up.
I had to leave the room.
I couldn't explain to anyone until I got on the computer right now at lunch.
