Busy Busy!
We leave tomorrow morning for the World Championship! Aly competes at 8am on Friday in sparring and combat sparring. Please wish us luck, send us good vibes, think strong combat thoughts our way, lol. She is really excited and I hope she has fun! Plus it would be cool to win!
She is also competing on Saturday for the next tournament season. Brittany is not planning to compete, we're going to discuss it one more time before we leave so she's got one last chance to change her mind. Hubby competes on Sunday for the next tournament season. We have 9 people from our school that are competing on Friday for World Champion, all of them are in different age groups and events so none of our people are going against each other on Friday! Saturday some kids will be moving up in to the new age group for next year, so they will be competing against each other then. We have 4 cars meeting at the school at 5am tomorrow so we can all follow each other for the 9 hour drive, eek! It will be interesting to see if we manage to stay together or if someone goes faster and someone else gets left behind. Who takes the most potty breaks, who wants to eat in the car and who needs to get out and stretch their legs and eat at a sit down restaurant. 4 of the families are staying at the same hotel, so we're going to be like a little gang taking over the world, lol.
Larkyn and Parker are going to my parents house for the long weekend. We are dropping them off tonight, they are SO excited! Parker woke me up this morning saying "Mommy! Today is the day! It's TOMORROW!" I'll miss them, but this will be MUCH easier without them. It's going to be long days with early mornings and a lot of Sit Around and Wait, and that gets boring when you are 4 and 5 years old. It gets boring when you are 38, but I can be still and entertain myself easier than they can!
