Today I am 39 weeks pregnant! One more week to go (in theory). My appointment is Thursday morning, we get another ultrasound to check his weight then we see the doctor. Hubby finally called his retired aunt today to see if she can watch Larkyn if we need help, so that my parents can go to the hospital. She already has a baby bed from when her grandkids come over, so that works out well!
School was canceled again today because of all the flooding. Everything near us was fine today but other areas are still bad. A couple of the places where school buses park were flooded so bad that some of the buses scooted around and bumped into each other or fell over. Hopefully enough of them were fine that they will be able to run the regular routes! Just got an email from the teacher and we ARE having school tomorrow, and the testing that should have started today will start tomorrow instead.
Larkyn had her one year check up today. The doctor said she is perfect! She is STILL getting the two molars that started coming in over a month ago. The doctor said she might be fussy from it but I didn't tell her that she's gotten two OTHER teeth while these were still trying to come through. Her height is still off the chart, she's as tall as the average 20month old and almost tall enough to open doors, lol. She's almost 3 feet tall already! Her weight was on the top of the chart for her age, she's almost 25 pounds. She had to get 3 shots today and daddy almost cried (I made him go with us). She didn't cry at all when they pricked her finger and took blood, she just kept trying to get the bandaid off her finger! I thought it was funny that the paper they give you for the shots says "I understand that I can not get this immunization if I am pregnant", lol. I had to sign a thing saying Larkyn is not pregnant and we understand the risks if she is, hehe! I get the principle of it, but it's a shot that usually only gets kid, and how often are little tiny kids pregnant?
I'm REALLY tired and feel like I need a nap. It's dinner time so I have a feeling that I won't get to nap until bedtime! Oh well. Hubby came in and disrupted my train of thought so who knows if I planned on saying anything else!
