Long Morning!
Larkyn and I went to see Granny this morning. We didn't get to leave as early as I wanted, then it was raining and traffic was bad because people don't know how to drive when stuff falls from the sky. We finally got there around 10, not long after Larkyn fell asleep :p I was trying to go BEFORE nap time! When we got to her room they were helping her dress and get cleaned up. It was time to go to physical therapy but the nurse couldn't get her into the wheelchair and Granny couldn't pull herself up enough to get into it, so nurse lady left to get the physical therapist to help. We sat and visited for awhile and the guy showed up around 11 to help her get into the chair. Larkyn was getting fussy and tired so I was about ready to leave, but the guy said we could keep visiting and she could come at 11:30. Granny really liked this idea so then I was stuck for another 30mins with a baby that was at her limit! Then Granny says I should wait for my mom to come because she was coming for a weekly check up meeting at 11:30, where they tell you her progress and what the plans is moving forward. I called and she was on her way so I said we MIGHT still be there when she arrives. We went to physical therapy a little early, and Granny told the guy I was staying until my mom got there, so then I was stuck again. Larkyn stopped being so fussy so she could look at all the other people in the room. My mom arrived and we were talking about the meeting and the physical therapy guy said Granny should go to the meeting with us, and for her to come back to physical therapy later. We didn't know she was supposed to go. My mom said they told her the meeting would be in Granny's room, which I thought was kinda odd. She has a room mate, it's the size of a normal hospital room, it's supposed to be Granny, my mom, the therapist, the nurse, the social worker, and someone else I forget. How are all those people going to fit into the room, staying on Granny's side of the curtain and talk privately??? So we go BACk to her room at 11:40, the meeting is supposed to be at 11:45. I finally LEAVE the nursing home at 12:15, and the meeting STILL hasn't taken place. My mom let the nurse know she was there waiting on them and the nurse said the social worker was down the hall and would be there soon. I have no idea what time they finally showed up, but you'd think they could try and do it close to the appointment time. I thought my mom should have gone somewhere else when she first arrived, and that sitting in her room waiting on someone to come find us didn't seem right, but the nurse said to just sit there so whatever.

Now I have NO idea what time to expect her to wake up, or how this will affect the rest of the day. I want a nap too, but I had to get food and I don't know if she'll sleep long enough. She fell asleep on the way home but woke up when we got here. I put her in her bed when we got here, but I don't know if she went back to sleep or not!
