Hubby
Hubby got good news while I was gone! As of tomorrow he will now be Captain Hubby! He is excited that it is finally happening (it has been in the budget for YEARS and keeps getting put off until 'next year'). Tomorrow is the start of their new fiscal year, so all the new changes that just got voted on will be taking place. I still think Lieutenant sounds better than captain, but he would prefer to be Captain ;)
Also my dad is now officially retired-woohoo! His last day was on Friday. Hubby went down and they celebrated retirement and promotions (hubby found out on Friday), so neither one of them had to be alone with their news.
Another small hubby tidbit. He went to help someone with some wiring (the guy shot a nail through bad wires and set his basement on fire, doh!) During the process of cutting through the live wire and putting it back together, he got a shock. He said it was a big one and made him curse, doh! The guy was all freaked out. When I was talking to him, I asked how much the guy paid him. He said "Well nothing yet". So I said 'you went out on a weekend to help in an emergency, got electrocuted, and didn't get any money', lol. The guy didn't have the money with him, so he's paying him later, but it was still funny to say!
Also Cai news-I've spent most of the day in bed with my feetsies up, and I have to say I feel MUCH better! Makes a big difference. I have been able to actually walk when i stand up today, and I'm not as sore. Dunno that I can do this everyday, but it's good to know the option actually works!
