I'm Hoooooooooooome!

Did ya miss me? hehe
We had a really good time, very relaxing! Dana and Crystal were there when we arrived, they had the air turned on so we didn't roast upon arrival for once! We sat and talked for a bit before going to the pool. Then we had dinner at Sharky's -as is tradition! We were later going than we have ever been before, and it was dark waaaay before we finished. Our waiter was the bartender, and he sucked. They were WAY to busy to have him taking care of tables as well, there was no way he could do everything. He was also really short, but very stocky (not fat), with weird long stringy hair and a big giant nose. He was weird looking.
Friday we took a ride in Dana's MIL's convertible, then went to the beach for a bit before relaxing at the pool again! The only downside is that there was a lot of trashy drunk people this time. A big giant group of them. The owner kept coming by telling them they can't drink in the pool and that they can't smoke in the pool area-he even reminded them it's a state law, not just him being bitchy. They'd pretend they didn't know, apologize, and as soon as he was gone they were doing it again. They were also diving into the pool, which isn't allowed because it isn't deep enough for it to be safe. This one drunk man kept diving with his kids, they stopped when the owner came, then one of the 'kids' (he was 17 or so) did a flip into the pool. Owner got onto him and the kid said "I wasn't diving, I was flipping, I can do that" and it REALLY pissed the owner off because it's under the same rule. As soon as he was gone, the dad gathered all the kids and started diving with them again. I was kind of hoping he'd hit his head and drown :p What kind of thing is that to teach your kids? It's ok to break the rules as long as authority doesn't see you, loooovely little hooligans he is growing there. Most of their kids were really young, too. When we were 6, we were afraid of adults who told us not to do things, even if they weren't our parents we would obey them! Anyway that night we went to Pineapple Willy's
and some guy stole our parking spot! We waited very patiently (and a long time) for this guy to pull out, and as soon as he did someone swooped in (from the back side, I couldn't have stopped him) and stole our spot. Dana jumped out and ran up to him and said "We were waiting on that space!" and he shrugged and made this little ticking noise in his mouth. He then turned around and she thought he was going to move, but he just got something out of his car. Bastard. I wanted to key his car, hehe. We wound up getting another space, but I sat there for another 10mins waiting on another guy to back up. People are annoying! We waited over an hour for a table, so again it was dark when we sat down, but our waiter was AWESOME! he was funny, faintly cute, friendly, efficient, and fast. The kitchen was fast too. Our food came out about 7 mins after we ordered it, which NEVER happens! All night I kept trying to think of the name of the guy our waiter reminded me of. I finally asked everyone else if he reminded them of anyone and they all said YES but they couldn't think of the name. It wasn't so much that he LOOKED like him, but he SOUNDED exactly like him! We finally decided to be really stupid and ask. We asked the guy "Has anyone ever told you that you remind them of anyone famous" and he said all the time, Crystal says he also said "I can be anyone you want me to be" but I didn't hear him say that. We said ok WHO do you remind people of, and I said I could picture the guy's face but not his name. He said people say he sounds like Norm MacDonald, and I went YES! That's EXACTLY who it was. His voice was the exact same. If his face hadn't been so different, I would have sworn Norm was now a waiter in Panama City Beach, lol.
Saturday morning it was storming and Dana and Crystal had to leave early. They left during the storm and about 20mins after they left, the weather cleared up and it was perfect. My mom and I spent most of the day at the pool. There was a new dumb drunk girl. She was about 17 or so, and carried a beer into the water with her! She at least kept her cigarette out, but I don't want to swim in the water when she spills her nasty beer. And I know in other places it might be OK to drink in pools, but it's against the rules here and I can't stand people who break the rules. Plus it's a family place, and the pool is mostly geared for kids, who don't need all that beer. It was really annoying because she's not even allowed to drink beer, and she was loud and stupid. After a few hours the big giant drunk group came out again. Luckily we'd been out there for a really long time, so we decided to just go back in and get ready for dinner. We were NOT waiting until after dark for dinner again! Usually we talked about what time we want to do dinner when we have lunch, but this trip we didn't. So we wound up getting behind.
We also got my mom's wireless working, and the rest of her office furniture put together. Now multiple people can be online at the same time. Oh yeah, when Dana was there we also spied on someone she knows on MySpace, lol. It's a long story!

Sunday we had to come home :( When I woke up, the wind was horrible and loud. I wondered if a hurricane was coming because it was so loud, lol. It was bending the trees at their trunks, my mom was afraid one tree would fall on her car, doh! It stopped storming by the time we left, but it followed us almost all the way home. The radio kept getting interrupted by national weather warnings, apparently the winds were in excess of 60mph. It was the strangest storm I have ever gone through. We'd drive on dry ground, then WHOOSH rain would be dumped on us so jhard I couldn't see. I'd slow waaay down, and in less than 15 seconds the rain stopped and the road was dry again. We'd go for 15mins-30mins and it happened again. the shortest rain was about 10seconds, and the longest was maybe 30. So strange! It kept happening over and over. We never went through normal rain, just this sudden heavy downpour that blocked vision and stopped as soon as it started. It was sunny when we got home, though!

Now I'm home though! I need an alarm that I can set so I don't forget to get Alamanda, doh. I also need to find the directions since this is my first time going there, doh again!
