"Tis a far far better thing doing stuff for other people" - Clueless

I'm going to say this will be my last entry that includes a preamble as to why I haven't updated in so long and everything that has happened to me.

Most of the bullshit I last wrote about has settled. My mom and I are in the sickest condo on Candlewood lake. It's like living in a resort. I'm still not on great terms with my dad, but things will be ok eventually. I am going back to school part time this semester just to bring up my GPA so I can really transfer. I've been spending my time just working. I have a pointless job at Lindt Chocolate in the mall (but the free candy is delicious). I also got a job at Starbucks which has been so awesome. I love everything about that store (including full benefits for part time workers).

Next week will be 6 months with Chris. I'm so happy.

So onto super recent. Today was AWESOME. my mom and i drove to greenwhich to pick up Lanie and Sarah and continued on into the city to get my sister. We all went downtown to the Village to see a show at The Bitter End. This girl my sister grew up with was playing in the opening band and invited us. The band was massive and they had a ton of crazy instruments and every member played at least two different instruments throughout the course of their set. Jean-Sophie was the name and they were super charismatic and just a lot of fun. After that we went to De Niro's Greenwhich Hotel because Lanie's son is the doorman there. It was SO beautiful. We had drinks in the Library (which is usually reserved for guests only). Than we took a tour of the duplex they just finished and the indoor pool room. All the floors in the hotel are made from scrap wood and than this one structure thing in the pool house was an old lake house from somewhere in asia. Its gorgeous and the whole thing stands without one nail in it. The place was ridiculously posh but I loved it. It was just a really nice day.
