An Emmy Highlight
When I saw Laura Linney in "John Adams", I told several friends that her performance said more in the moments that her character was silent than most actresses could with words.
So, despite being up against a lot of great performances, she won last night for Best Actress: Drama.
Among her acknowledgments was one to "the great community organizers that helped form our country".
