Picspam Reaction: Supernatural 6.15

Contains profanity and speculation. And more profanity. And a ridiculous number of screencaps. After 5.10 and 5.16, this one has the third most caps I've ever had for one of these, so beware your bandwidth! Maybe click the cut and go get a drink while you're waiting for it to load.

Spoiler and Theory Summary )

Misha? Totally sent out the tweets. I was so confused until I watched the ep this afternoon.

It took Virgil three body shots from a large gun to take Kripke down.

Yeah, that's one of the main things I'm taking from this. Also, Misha apparently live tweeted two of the three tweets from the episode, then claimed that his phone had fallen into an interdimensional vortex, but don't worry, he got it back! -- then the tweets went away, then came back after it aired on the West Coast. (I watched the ep on DVR around midnight, here, so around when it was airing on the West Coast, and saw the tweets going back up.)

My theory is Misha found out he got to freak out, cry, and die in the episode and then did a happy dance. *nods*

And Virgil is awesome and totally needs to come back.

As for what happened to Jared and Jensen, my current theory is that the alternate universe was actually a construct built around Sam and Dean, to be fully formed upon their arrival and then collapse after they leave. So there is no "real" Jared and Jensen. *nods*

Hell yeah, Kripke's a badass. However also a bit of an idiot for still walking towards Virgil after the first shot.

Oh that's even cooler! Not ofen they think about us West Coasters :-D

Absolutely! He's like an angel Terminator.

Think of it though. Jared and Jensen do a jump through the set window and land in Bobby's yard in South Dakota in a rainstorm outside a room full of people they think are actors hurling special effects at each other.

It would be more practical for it to be a one-off closed loop sub-universe, but the potential hijinx are too fun to play with.

Oh, the fanfic possibilities are endless.

Also: He's like an angel Terminator.

I related him more to El Mariachi, me. Either way, really.

I am desperately wondering about the civil war, gah. Oh, and wings!!!

I know! I mean this was episode 15, that means only 7 left in the season, when and how are they going to reveal what's going on and then tie it all up?

Also, Misha's four-year old scream just undid me

Hee! I know! XD

Jensen's face trying to act

He looked like he was trying to channel one of the Muppets, Sam the American Eagle.

Also Jared's fake house reminded me so much of The Empress it isn't funny, and perhaps the interior of Craigdarroch, but I know it isn't so.

If they ever film on the island, I will make noises like a scared alt-Misha Collins.

I may also require yours and A's assistance with something soon, but I know you are more than overloaded so no worries.

That sounds... ominous. Work is trying to eat me, there were phone calls and things I'm trying to forget, and nothing will get any less than it is now until June. :-/

That "acting" scene was absolutely hysterical, one of the funniest scenes I've seen in ages. (I admit that this was the first Edlund episode I've really enjoyed since the middle of season 5.)

As I understand it, that was the sigil that Dean drew, so they should know about it. I love that, yes, Dean *did* observe it and memorize it after one viewing, just the way he did with the angel sigil (which he only saw drawn once, in 4.22, before he drew it in 5.01). I assume it didn't work for them because of the lack of magic, but could be activated from the other side.

<<-Dean does have a point, and I wonder if Sam would even have to worry about Death's hell wall breaking down in a world with no Mana, or if it would break down faster. After Misha's death (*shivers*) They both have reason to get out of the business and hide out ( ... )

Nope, the one Dean drew on Bobby's set window got smashed when they jumped through it. The sigil on the Hotel set window was coming through from SPN'verse, like it did when Virgil arrived. Raphael was opening the portal at the Hotel set where Virgil came through, because she was at the Hotel not at Bobby's :-)

I do love Smart Dean and love that they let him out to play. :-)

What I especially loved was that, based on the speech Dean gave to "Bob Singer," he had already decided to return to his world, with all its problems, but he was offering Sam the option of staying. Sending Sam off if that's what Sam wanted.Very true. He's always looking for an out for Sam, but doesn't see how he can get out himself, or that he can be allowed to stop. It's both sweet and tragic and ( ... )

It's the < and > symbols. It sometimes gets confused by them and thinks they are meant to be an HTML tag.
