Check this out
First Myspace implies that I need a trademark by sending me the following email:
Hello,
Usernames on a first come, first serve basis. As the name in question
is not a trademark violation, the user has the right to retain the
username in question.
Thank you,
Myspace
So I look into getting a trademark and I let myspace know that I am doing that. Then myspace sends me this email :
Thank you for your email of March 30, 2007 regarding the Cafferine
trademark. As the owner of valuable trademarks, MySpace makes every
effort to respect the trademarks of others. That said, MySpace does not
and cannot police the trademark rights of its users or third parties and
is not in a position to resolve possible trademark disputes between
MySpace users and third parties. We suggest you contact the MySpace user
directly. We hope you are able to reach an amicable resolution to your
issues.
Myspace
So first they say get a trademark, then they say it doesn't matter. I'm glad this happened before I spent the money instead of after!
So how do I email someone who disabled their email? The user who my URL has removed their contact box. I serously doubt they will just give up the URL since they are spammers who basically are " getting away with it" .
Where is TOM when you need him. Where is ONE person at myspace who pays attention? They listened to the person who lied about my myspace basically, but they won't listen to me. Myspace knows, whoever is reading this knows, that if I were a brand that they personally recongnized ( Tila Tequila, My Chemical Fall Out Romance Boy, anyone ) something would be done immediatly!!!!
