*flails* OMG!!!!!! I haven't watched season 5 but Delenn was my favourite character (Ivanova following right behind). My favourite episode was "Here comes the Inquisitor" .
I totally agree with what you say about Delenn! =D You're spot-on! I found Mira Furlan's acting very distinctive and I liked it because it really brought out the "alien" side but it was so lovely and easily relatable. xD Also as an english non-native speaker, I didn't find at all funny her problems grasping human language... O_o lol
Thanks for the clips! They are great and brought up so many memories! I'd love to watch the show from the beginning right to the end this time *sigh*.
I watched B5 along seasons 6 and 7 of Deep Space 9. It proved to be a grave mistake because I kept comparing them unintentionally and it isn't really fair to either of them.
P.S. My aunt used to have "babcom" as her wifi password for years! xD
Nice! It's funny because I'm the opposite: Ivanova is my favourite character followed by Delenn =D
Aww, thanks re: this post! I can't imagine anyone but Mira Furlan playing Delenn, there's this quiet intensity in her that fits the character but also this ethereal-ness to her <3 It's funny I've been slowly rewatching the series recently and watching the YouTube clips makes me want to go back and re-watch them again! I hope you get a chance to rewatch from start to finish at some point, it's pretty awesome rewatching them again =D
"Here comes the Inquisitor" was such a great episode! So intense...and I can't remember if this was the episode where I started shipping Delenn & Sheridan but they were great in it <3

You know, I usually tend to go for the warrior/fighter too but I loved that Delenn's spirituality was balanced. I love cultured, well-educated and I-won't-put-up-with-your-crap-on-your-say-so kind of spiritual people (Kira also pops in mind xD). I suppose I felt personally closer to Ivanova but what I really wanted to be was Delenn, does that make any sense? Besides, as much as I love Ivanova (and trust me, I never forgot her mantra *giggles*) the elegance and the royal air that Delenn carries herself with are two things that I cannot get over... xD

Also, I'd either had no idea or had totally forgotten that Mira Furlan was on Lost. Huh.
