(23/365) - "That solves the manpower problem!"
So, the latest chapter of Naruto...
I was looking forward to seeing how Kabuto would be used, but this latest twist with the Super Edo Tensei does not impress me. It seems like a lame way to overcome the manpower issue Akatsuki was facing. Of course, I have trainwreck syndrome as far as Naruto goes, so I'll likely be sticking around until the bitter end.
In other news, today was a pretty busy day. I met with an old friend for what was supposed to be coffee but ended up turning into a couple of drinks. We haven't seen each other in a while so we were catching up on work, personal life, and party business on the Youth members side. During our meeting, I got a call about doing temporary work for 5 weeks on an environmental impact statement that a NGO is doing. That should be some good work for a while, and we'll see what comes after that. It's nice to be putting that degree to use for a change.
I ended up going to the new gym I signed up for in the evening. I felt a little out of sorts there, with the layout and some of the differences from the YMCA, but I actually really like it. It will likely take another week or two before I'm back kicking arse like I used to be.
