Damn wrist
My 21 and a half years of no broken bones may be on its way out the door.... technically.... maybe.
For those who don't know I flipped over my bike head first on Monday coming home from Adam's bbq (which was quite lovely). I fell left side first and hit my left thigh and landed directly on my left wrist. Well it became swollen and it hurt so bad that I could not get comfortable enough to get more than 30 minutes of sleep monday night. Well I went to the doctor's office after class and a few x-rays better it turns out that i may have a fractured "Scaptula?" (which basically controls the movement of your thumb). So I am wearing a splint for at least 4-6 weeks unless the come back with the post swollen results. It also could be a "Novecula?" break which would require a real cast for a few months.
Either way its hard to tie your shoes with one hand and your teeth. Doable, but difficult.
P.S. I typed this entire passage with only my right hand.
