Back in SD.
The Bay area was... all over the map.
I didn't get to see some of the people I wanted to, which is too bad but nobody's fault, really.
Some of it was really intense. Other parts of it were not super-connected. In a way, I didn't get to see the "community" up there, and I wonder if it still exists? I wonder if our group of friends is still as vibrant as it once was? I don't know, I have to think about it, but something seemed... blanketed. Flat and muffled. Hidden from view, possibly.
When I return there in 6 months, I will have to bend my mind (my mind!) to figuring out what exactly that is, and how to improve it. Time will tell.
