A Thought...
In the past some people have expressed an interest in seeing me perform puppety stuff. At the end of this module as part of the assessment I'll be performing on 2 days. One will be an invite only (but I should be able to get a very limited number of people one) show called the Living Room Theatre in the puppet house. There are nibbles and such. This will be on the evening of Thursday 23rd (19:00 for 20:00 start).
The second is a day of drop-in performances at the church hall in Grassington square on Friday 24th. We'll be doing 4-5 performances during the day from about 10 am until 5 pm-ish.
Performances, in all cases, will be 4 or 5 short (five-ish minute) shows by myself and my friends on the course, so it should only be half an hour out of your life (if you don't include the journey to the back of beyond), although the LRT is a bit longer as there's often discussion and feedback afterwards. It's Shakespeare themed but don't hold that against us, there should be some nice glove and lip sync puppetry on display. On a good day it's a nice place to visit and there are a few interesting places nearby if you want to make a day of it.
If it's not a good day it's a bit dismal though :)
