Festivals!
I've been asked, rather late in the day, to run the puppetry schools summer festival thing. That is to say find festivals who might want a tent full of puppeteers and be willing to pay cash for. The idea is that the students do it for free as experience and get their expenses paid, the rest goes towards paying off the big swish venue tent the School bought. And as organiser I get a cut not just expenses. Yes folks actual money from puppetry who'da thunk it.
But I'm kinda stuck. I have a few ideas for some festivals but if you stick "festivals" into google you end up with so many hits that it's actually no help. So do any of you have any ideas, good people? Do you run a festival which might benefit from some puppetry?
