simple pleasures make the world go round
I really hate being lonely. So much. Lonliness + boredom makes me ill. So I came here =)
Worked 12-9 today. EWWWWWWW. Actually, it went by fairly fast. It was just me and Matt W for the first 3 hours, he's definitely my favorite co-worker. We talked a whole bunch about some interesting stuff, like my illegitimacy and me and Cody's Bastard Rangers force. Aww and when I first clocked in, he went across the street to cash his check, and when he got back he was like "oh yeah, I got you this" and handed me a lollipop =D I'm so easy to please. See example two : I went on break from 5-6, and when I got back I see that Matt C has made one of those paper doll chains with the paper towels, and labeled them Matt, Steph, Leo, and Kacie. SO CUTE. So then Steph had the idea of coloring in clothes on them that matched what we were wearing today, and then taping it to the outer counter so people knew our names. So I colored them and taped it up and everything cause I'm cool like that. And then this little girl came in and was like "You don't have faces. You need faces! Can I have a pen?" and then she gave us all smiley faces haha.
Awww...hanging out with Dad last night for his birthday was so nice. I drove us all around, we went to JP Looney's for dinner and I paid and it made him so happy. He was all surprised. Then we went to Border's cause he wanted to buy the book I'm reading, Dixie Lullaby. Then of course we got side tracked by the music and ended up buying four cds, cause they have that buy 3 get the 4th one free deal going on. I LOOOVE music shopping with my Dad. I learn so much. And I bought him the Ray Charles - Genius Loves Company cd and wrote him a really sweet card, so I hope he liked all that.
I think I'm gonna go get some sweet tea and then read and then sleep. Yeah, that sounds good.
