1. New jeans. And when I say 'new', I mean that I will be trying jeans on, like, the Friday before the convention, at the very latest. They may be used jeans -- hand-me-downs from Cat, or maybe something off the rack at Buffalo Exchange -- but they will be new to me, and that's what I'm going to care about ( Read more... )

Nine and a half. But I wear a single, specific, kind of shoe; I just need to hit a Payless.

If you do a wide width in that 9 1/2, esp. if you tend to roll your foot to the outside, _please_ let me know (it's looking highly likely that I won't be getting back in to my 9.5 wide Easy Spirits that have not a lot of wear on them ... seeing as the newest shoes are a size 11 *eep*)

9 1/2 seems to be a lot more common than the stores want us to believe.

Actually they're 9 1/2 EEE. I end up wearing everything from a mens 8-10 to a womens 10-11. I can almost never find a shoe that is the proper width and the correct length. I have my feet sometimes.

Actually, I'm usually a 9 1/2 EE (which I can usually pick up at Easy Spirit, thank goodness!).

I tend to pronate (roll my feet in), and having had a roommate who wore the same shoe size, but would supinate (really rolled out - she literally walked on the outside of her shoes) - well, we found we could trade off shoes and get better/more even wear for both of us.

And yeah, I tend to buy men's shoes, because it's easier to find a wide enough shoe that way :-)

If you'd like to try 'em, I've got rather a lot with various levels of wear (I roll my foot in, so if you roll out, you should still get some reasonable wear). They are mostly Easy Spirit brand, generally 9 1/2 D or EE (wide or double-wide, as they put it). I'm most likely going to send 'em off to the Salvation Army locally, or some such, because I _really_ need to clean out my closet - but I'd ratehr send 'em along to someone I know (and if they don't work out, hey, drop 'em off to someone else or to a local charity *grin*)

Let me know if you'd like to try 'em, and I can see about shipping them your way (email via my account@livejournal.com will get here just fine)
