* I have some of the best proofreaders in the world. In. The. World. So good! Less than twenty-four hours after handing off the first draft of Upon a Star, I had corrections ranging from the grammatical to the identification of large pacing problems, and am now prepared to whack the book with large sticks in order to get it into condition to be passed off to tier two. Rockin'.

* Chapter one of Lycanthropy and Other Personal Issues is entirely done, and I am now applying myself with industry and flair to chapter two, wherein Clady starts high school and begins the long, tedious process of making new friends. Without breaking their elbows or anything else antisocial. It's definitely interesting, having a snide, cynical, somewhat physically violent focal character. After Corey, I mean, whose reaction to a fight involves shrieking 'don't hit, I bruise easy'.

* Nothing makes me feel secure about myself like wearing clothes that I like and knowing that I am prepared to face the day. And that is why I'm wearing shorts and my Marilyn Munster T-shirt, and why I'm planning to wear my clingy black long-sleeved shirt with the flared camo skirt for tonight. Life is better when you like what you're wearing.

* I have purchased and inflated a second exercise ball, this one for keeping at the office, and using (when possible) in lieu of a computer chair. It's good for my back, it's comfortable, and nothing says 'love' like a chair that you can bounce up and down on when you start getting restless. Well. Practically nothing, that is.

* I just drank a liter and a half of water. Perhaps I was thirsty.

And now...Thursday!
