Khan, from the original Star Trek ep "Space Seed" (and from the best of the ST films, "The Wrath of Khan").

Played by Ricardo Montalban.

(googling now informs me that it's "Noonien" rather than "Noonian")

It could be worse. There was goweli's admission that she'd never seen The Empire Strikes Back. That was a boggle moment. This one? Almost expected, in an unexpected way. I think knowing cadhla is what they mean when people say "Expect the unexpected." The revelation is surprising, but you knew that something was there because she's who she is, so it's routinely unexpected.
