Tiny little broken kitty-cat.

Lilly is safely home from the vet, and pretty much stoned out of her tiny mind. She's sacked out on top of the printer right now, responding with vague intimations that the world is entirely unfair so lemmelone when prodded (just to make sure she's still breathing, and all).

The vet called her 'amazingly socialized', 'a darling' and 'incredibly sweet'. And this is someone who works with cats all the time. See? All Lilly Kanes are totally awesome!

(For those of you who are new arrivals to this journal, Lilly is my Siamese bluepoint; she turned six months old today, and we celebrated by getting her spayed so that I could get her breeder to release her papers to me. Lilly is, like her namesakes*, awesome.)

Lilly weighs six point four pounds, and has an officially clean bill of health. We're celebrating with crab and blue cheese salad; she's mostly interested in the strawberries, however, when she's awake.

Happy breaking day, Lilly.

(*Lilly is named after Lilly Kane, Lilly Moskowitz, and -- according to the arcane reference-naming pattern I use for one of my cultures -- Leela, the Siamese that came before her.)
